Khepri

The falcon-winged scarab god, Khepri, whose name means “to emerge” or “to come into being”, is an aspect of the sun [ ]. Associated with rebirth, the dawn, and the rising sun, it was believed that he rolled the sun across the sky, as scarab beetles roll dung-balls along the ground.
